Angel Tree- help!

I felt a random pull to grab a tag from an Angel Tree I saw earlier. There were two left and one of them was a 3rd grade girl who wants tan skinned dolls. I decided to grab it (and I’m grabbing the last one if it’s still there in the morning) and later remembered I have two brand new unopened AG outfits (waking up is ruff PJs and isabels year 2000 outfit) that were duplicates from a messed up order. Perfect!!!!

But now I’m having a moral dilemma! I don’t think I could order a brand new AG doll- that’s very expensive plus shipping would take too long…

I’m going to scour thrift stores and TJ Maxx to see if I can find a tan skinned AG girl, but if it comes down to it…..would it be lame/rude to get her an Our Generation doll? I’d be able to get her some more accessories/clothing that way, but now I’m seeing tiktoks like “well if you can’t afford something really nice/not secondhand don’t even bother” I’ve never done an angel tree so now I’m getting anxiety!!

Or should I scrap my idea and just get her some Barbies?!? Help!!! 💜
