I got a gaming pc. I have never played games. Any recommendations?

I played GTA, Call of duty and Velorant before on but it was long time ago. I am not good with tech, I wish to learn tho. I think I would enjoy story heavy, action, adventure, fantasy, immersive games.

Any games recommendations for me? Or laptop set-up recommendation, or maybe name your all time favorite games down.
