It’s annoying how they keep trying to push beef between Whitney and Mayci for Mikayla’s sake

I’m catching up on season 2 and I have so many thoughts, but one of the things that I can’t get past is that either the show runners or Mikayla keeps trying to start/insinuate beef between Whitney and Mayci.

I’m watching episode 7 now, the scene where Mayci and Mikayla are in the car bitching about the sourdough starter recipe that Whit got from Mayc, and Mayci’s annoyance just doesn’t sound genuine to me lol. Based on the text that was sent, I don’t think Whitney insinuated that she created the recipe and it doesn’t seem like such a big deal that Mayci would genuinely be upset about it, or Whitney would be unwilling to admit it.

The thing is, I feel like Whitney is very upfront and Mayci is very forgiving, which is why they’re able to get along so well, even the whole discussion they had about Whit not going to the baby mama launch, it’s clear they both saw the situation differently but decided to move past it and be good, but Mikayla still had to do a a way to make an argument about it.

It just feels to me like everytime Mayci is complaining about Whitney, her heart isn’t really in it like that, she’s just doing it to keep Mikayla happy lol.
