For those who buy from 1688, how do you handle unclear replies from sellers?

I’ve been trying to get a few small things from 1688 recently. Most sellers reply fine, but some give super short answers that don’t explain much. Sometimes the shipping also changes a couple of times, which makes it hard to know what’s going on.

Just wondering how other people deal with this. Do you keep asking until it makes sense, switch sellers, or do something else?
