One thing that makes me like Percy and hate Ron.

I hate how Ron treated the students younger that him as Prefect and how Harry never stopped him being an ass. He was rude and mean even to his Quidditch teammates and Harry kept coddling him.

Imagine being younger at school and the Prefect, the one who is supposed to watch out for you treated you that way.

Percy was a better Prefect who treated people fairly, though he was annoying.

Why was Ron made Prefect anyway? I don't think he had the temperament to be one, unlike Percy who liked to do things right.

Ron's anger issues is just so annoying.

I hated how he treated Hermione. He really did not consider going to the Yule Ball with her and actually thought that that no one would ask her. And he dared be upset that someone he liked like Krum asked her. If that made him realize that he wanted to be with her he should have treated her much nicer later in the books, or try to spend time with her, but no, the bickerings kept going on.
