Does weed make your symptoms worse?

I frequently see folks talk about managing symptoms of ADHD by smoking weed, but whenever I'm high mine get sooo much worse. I was recently diagnosed at 23 and started Vyvanse, which has been a genuine night and day difference for me. Since starting i noticed if i indulge in an edible (when i have no important tasks to do) my incessant brain static and restlessness comes back in full force.

Alcohol was always my drug of choice anyways as i used to quiet the noise with that before getting diagnosed, but i hear from so many people having positive experiences with THC i was wondering if something was wrong with me lol.
