Beam Rally Classes

Would it be possible for the devs to implement Rally1 and Rally2 specifications for the cars ingame instead of what we have now? i feel like the difference in power and weight between the vivace and sunburst NGRC1 configurations is too great to really call them both NGRC1. Like could the devs implement restrictor plates, and weight ballasts so the cars are close enough to be the same class?
