Bridal event dresses (15-20k)

Fellow Brides, I get married in September 2026, and have a moderate guest count (~85) of mostly out of town friends and family.

Because it’s a destination wedding for most, my fiancé and I are considering a welcome party or maybe a send off brunch. I’ve already picked my wedding dress (!!) but am perplexed on if I should get something fun and flowy for the reception? Also what are brides wearing to pre and post wedding events? Are we wearing white, or something less bridal?
