Texas ESDs which to look out for?

Looking to move out to Texas eventually. What are some great ESDs to work for out that way ? Any places to avoid ? I’d like to work city but my age is gonna be an issue with civil service departments ( 35 ). Currently have IFSAC firefighter 2 certification ( hazmat awareness , ops , fire 1 and fire 2 ) but can obtain TCFP fire cert and I’m a nationally registered paramedic. Sorry if the post breaks rules just looking for direction when it comes to this state! Thanks !
