Unable to put saddle gauges in my ear.

I’m looking for solutions to be able to wear saddle gauges again. I have my ears stretched to zero gauge but my right ear is slightly bigger than my left ear. It hurts to try and get saddles in my right ear even ones that aren’t tapered as much. A few times I was worried that the gauge would be stuck in my ear because I struggled to get it out without pain or at all. I was thinking of stretching my right side to double zero just to be able to wear my saddles again but not sure if there’s a better solution as I don’t want to move up a size.
