Just moved to new rental but just bought a house - issue with not paying Bond...

Hi gang

So, I bought a house. yay. But I just moved into a rental and they were waiting for me to transfer Bond once I receive it back from RTA from last rental. I will be moving to own home in a few weeks. Would you bother paying the Bond? Is there some law that will come after me? A bit scared as I have always done the right thing by REAs but I feel shady even asking this question. Any advice? Thanks folks
