Why optional subject should be removed from state PCS exam.

Someone scoring around 450 in optionals and is unheard of! There was High degree of inconsistency in the marking of optionals this time. Toppers from Some optionals scoring 420+ while Toppers in others barely managing to cross 290. moreover i believe , the standard of qstns in different optionals was also not uniform. Apparently Scaling was being done in some papers .This causes unnecessary confusion and stress among the aspirations. So why not scrap off the optional paper? Many state PCS like assam , bihar ,up, etc have removed the optionals. I think it's time we do the same in order to bring uniformity. Candidates from all background will be able to compete on an equal footing . Opinions are welcomed🙏
