Arcade-ish racing games like Burnout 3: Takedown or FlatOut?

I'm really looking to recapture that sick, stiff, yet free-floating racing feeling from the Playstation 2 era again. Modern racing games often feel like there's too much weight and feedback on the controls. There's also not much going on in the soundtracks. I like exciting, loud music that gets me pumped. I'M A GAMER!! ARRRGHHHH

Looking for said games on Steam and bonus points if you can play against a friend.
