Any point to applying to uoftsg cs/eng for the early consideration deadline (dec 2)?

Avg for gr12 sem 1 midterms sitting at a 93.3% which is close but probably a percent or 2 off the usual admission range, and im not sure if applications are judged more strictly for the early rounds in which case id probably just apply during winter break and get my grades up a bit + prepare more for the interview/supp apps. Im worried that if I apply later however, even after an improved average, it wouldnt help me because some spots have already been filled from early admission so the later rounds would be more saturated with applicants and make it more competitive, so the little boost to my average + my supplemental would essentially be cancelled out. Just trying to weight out whether its better to submit early and hope my supplemental comes through (ive always been good at interviews), or just wait until my marks are higher and im better prepared even if theres stiffer competition? Would really appreciate any advice right now
