National Park Fee Increases Apply to U.S. Residents Without a Green Card?
I have a question about the upcoming national park fee changes. I’m a U.S. resident for tax purposes, but I don’t have a green card. I’ve been paying U.S. taxes for 15 years—will I still be considered an “international visitor” under the new entry rules?
Does the new fee apply to anyone who isn’t a U.S. citizen or green card holder, even if they live here and pay taxes?
Also, if I buy an America the Beautiful pass before the end of this year, will it still be $80? And if I bring an international visitor with me next year, will my pass still cover the entire vehicle as usual?
