Should ‘buying a win’ be allowed as a commissioner?

Tanking team is down 118-121 to a team fighting for the 6th seed. The tanking team asked me if there’d be any issue with him trading Darius Slayton (playing tomorrow, not part of his future plans, but certainly a thread to score over 3 points) to the guy he’s playing and picking up a scrub wr from the giants to play.

Do you see any issue with the tanking team trading Slayton to the competing team for a 3rd or whatever to guarantee the loss and pick up a draft pick. It seems borderline but ultimately it is a trade that helps both sides.
