GFCI help

Recently bought a house. All the circuits works but wanted to swap out pre-existing outlets in my old bathrooms which weren’t GFCI for GFCI. They were all 15A, and I install the equivalent ones. After install, everything worked and checked out.

I asked contractor to come do work for refinishing my hardwood flooring and come back to find they had opened up breaker box and had tapped in with their own electrical wirings. At first I didn’t think much. But after the fact, I realized my GFCI had stopped working.

I rechecked the wiring, everything was install and wired correctly. There was no tripping noted. I turned on the breaker, the wire feeding the breaker is HOT, and confirmed but the “hot” wires going into individual GFCI outlets are not.

What could be the problem? The breaker for the GFCI was completely fine. Is this a faulty breaker? There is no tripping noted but could it also be due to a faulty breaker?

Additional fact, all the bathroom GFCI are controlled by 1 breaker.
