Random question about the broken bone

I have never broken anything so genuinely curious... I thought Remi broke her collar bone and had to be in a sling with limited arm movement. The other week she was trying on clothes/jackets with Jen's friend and had the sling on at first but took it off to try things on. All this weekend has been shown with no sling in sight... I would have thought she would still be recovering and healing ? Insight?
