Monk Who Isn't Actually a Monk

Hey all!

I recently watched a video by Mateo (Tater_the_Bard on tiktok) who brainstormed some fun character flaws for a "Himbo" character, one of them being "thinks they are a philosopher". I really love this flaw and wanted to run with it.

As such I want to build an unarmed character who thinks he is a wise Monk but in reality has a WIS of like 8 (I know you don't have to "act" your stats but this feels fitting).

Can yall help me come up with a build that would fit this flavor? I don't have a game in mind to join this with yet so I would love to see your idea at different levels to better be translated if I end up going with something like this down the line. This does not need to be a meta build but I would like it to feel like it's doing something in combat.
