LOOKING FOR NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIAN PARTICIPANTS
Hello everyone,
My name is Sophie Denby, and I’m a Master’s student at the University of Canterbury. I’m running a research study exploring how hormonal changes during the menopausal transition relate to attention and wellbeing, in females with and without ADHD.
We are looking for females who are in either their reproductive years, perimenopausal years or postmenopause. Right now, we are especially looking to hear from females who do not have ADHD. Your experiences are really important for creating a balanced and accurate picture in this research.
The menopausal transition can bring a lot of changes, and there is still so much we don’t fully understand. By taking part, you would be contributing to research that aims to improve support and awareness for females in midlife.
Following community feedback, we are now also including participants who use hormone replacement therapy (HRT)/menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), to ensure their experiences are properly represented.
This project has been reviewed and approved by the University of Canterbury Human Ethics Committee. Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and open to females who meet the following criteria:
- Live in Australia or New Zealand
- Aged 30–60
- Not currently using hormonal birth control
- Have not had an oophorectomy
- Have not had a child in the past year
If you meet the criteria and are interested in participating, you can take part here: https://canterbury.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3F4KgjC9lJFMe8K
Participants will have the choice to enter into a draw to win an online $20 Woolworths voucher.
If you have any questions, feel free to email Sophie Denby at sophie.denby@pg.canterbury.ac.nz
Thank you in advance. Your contribution is truly appreciated.
