Is he just shy or not very interested?

I went on a first date with a guy recently. He seemed shy and introverted. He was polite, paid for dinner, and tried to make conversation, even he didn’t order food himself. But I can tell he was kinda shy. I kinda asked for the date cuz I like being straight forward and he said he just doesn’t want to be pushy, and he is very down.

The next day, he texted me about a personality test we had discussed on hinge (he hasn’t asked my number yet) I replied. Later, I asked how’s his week been? And he said super good start, we met on Monday. So I thought he enjoyed the date. He said his weekend is more busy than usual but he’d like to make time if I’d be interested in doing something, I said sure, let me know what works for you. He said have a great time with my friends on Friday night, I hearted the message and I thought he would propose something on weekend as he suggested BUT he never proposed a specific plan and now it’s Sunday night.

I try not to read too much but I’m kinda anxious attached and he seems to be kinda shy and slow from what I tell so I’m not sure if i am expecting too much or he is just being polite and not that interested?
