Barrel mimic at lake

After some testing with the red "orb" mimic that i posted yesterday , i couldnt respawn him succesfully yet. But i did find a non consumable item mimic at the lake that appears as a barrel. I used a jumpad and he didnt respawn at my location soo i went back to check at the lake and he was back in his barrel form. I dont know if he spawns before 40 or not yet. There must be something to do with this i think.
