Best Pump n Dump hotel?

I have a 2 day Jan layover. Im searching for an easy access hotel. I've been to CO once and stayed at Days Inn, Colfax. Not the greatest but No-Keycard access is why I grabbed it. Couple guys showed. Any suggestions?I'd prefer to stay near Capital Hill to downtown/art areas.

I found a hice Airbnb suite with private patio door acess in lower Cap Hill. Location may be tough w/o transportation.
