Hornet Tracker questions

Hey I’d like some confirmation on the radar capabilities of the hornet tracker mk2.

I’m under the impression that a. The module has no impact on the scanning, and b. The tracker has no difference in detection ranges compared to the other mk2 models.

Is this true? If so what’s the point? Have they said anything about this changing?
