[College English Lit] Paradise Lost/The Faerie Queene Close Reading

Okay so this is my first time posting here. Hi! I am taking a college English Lit course and I am sucking at it. Right now I have a close reading due that requires me to pick from one of the readings we have done and pick one passage to analyze. I have decided to either do Milton’s Paradise Lost or Spencer’s The Faerie Queene, because I remember really liking both of them. The issue is I don’t have the time/ability to sit down and read both of these in their entirety to find a passage that expresses the themes of the text best. So that’s what I am coming to you guys for! In my class we only read Books I and IV of Paradise Lost and Book 1 of the Faerie Queene so the passage only has to be from there. Do you guys know any??
