Holiday Surgery

I’m scheduled for removal 12/22. I am supposed to host a big NYE party. After reading through this sub, I assume that’s not happening. The last two weeks of the year are slow at work, so I figured that’d be best time to do it. I’d hate to miss NYE, but I doubt 9 days at 43 y/o will = full recovery. Thoughts?
