Could Notre Dame be left out of the Playoffs?

With the Regular Season coming to an end and the conference championship matchups being decided. The 5 championship autobids in the playoffs are super important in securing a spot.

My current predictions for how the rankings look is as follows:

1. Ohio State
2. Indiana
3. Georgia
4. Texas Tech
5. Oregon
6. Ole Miss
7. Texas A&M
8. Oklahoma
9. Notre Dame
10. Alabama
11. BYU G5: North Texas/Tulane/JMU

With the selection including those 5 conference champions BYU is 1st left out for Virginia winning the ACC UNLESS they win the Big 12 in which they get in.

This would kick Alabama out, but if Alabama wins the SEC, then Notre dame could be kicked out as both BYU and Alabama win. So the final standings would be:

1. Ohio State (B10 Champ)
2. Indiana
3. Georgia
4. Texas Tech
5. Oregon
6. Ole Miss
7. Texas A&M
8. Oklahoma
9. Alabama (SEC Champ)
10. BYU (B12 Champ)
11. Virginia (ACC Champ) G5: North Texas/Tulane/JMU (Conference Champ)

Is there something I’m missing from this or is there a genuine scenario?
