Does anyone have experience going from being medicated to not being able to take/get access to the medication all of a sudden?

wondering because this is what i’m currently going through. i lost my health benefits. I just started my adhd medication a few months back and it has worked so well for me. now i’m sad because i’ll be without it for a while , probably 6 months to a year before i can get benefits again. I can’t afford a session with my psychiatrist out of pocket. Am i going to get side effects for stopping the medication cold turkey? I’ll miss my adderall 💔
