Just to confirm, there’s no point in buying a 1 week Myki Pass until at least 1 February 2026?

The free weekend travel does change things up a bit with Myki if you travel every single day.

Zone 1+2 Myki Money daily Mon-Fri = $11 x 5 = $55.00, and then Saturday and Sunday would be free anyway with the current weekend free travel promo. Without the current weekend free travel promo, you’d shell out an extra $15.60 for both Saturday and Sunday, for a days worth each, which the pass would normally save you.

I was wondering to see if they would discount the Myki weekly passes slightly for the summer to see if they’d still provide a monetary incentive to prepay for the pass if you take it week by week but guess everyone would be better off just doing PAYG for Myki Money, in case eg you have a sick day and wouldn’t be using PT
