Limo’s fizzling out over the last decade+ (the essence of wealth that limo’s provided in GG)

While watching Gossip Girl I got kind of a burst of nostalgia thinking about how little we see limo’s now. It’s kind of ridiculous seeing how limo’s used to be a status symbol but a good fun ridiculous. Now we barely see them. Black Trucks are the new “It” transportation vehicle but there’s something so nostalgic about a limo. The fact that Chuck would mostly 9x out of 10 be the only passenger in a twenty passenger limo every single day is just so funny and ridiculous. What I like about GG is that the writers always made it seem like we could poke fun at the characters for their over extravagance.
