Lyft account deactivated due to false accusation — has anyone gone through Arbitration and won?

Hi everyone, I could really use some guidance from drivers who have been through this.

About a week ago Lyft deactivated my account due to a passenger report. The notification stated:

“The report alleges that you touched one of your passengers inappropriately during a ride.”

This accusation is completely false. I’ve always maintained professional boundaries, treated riders with respect, and taken safety seriously in every trip. I have years of driving experience and have never had an incident like this.

Now I’m considering Arbitration as a way to try to get my account reinstated. I’ve read some information, but real experiences from drivers would be extremely helpful.

My questions for those who have been through this:

– Have you successfully reversed a deactivation through arbitration? – What was the process like (timeline, stages, evidence needed)? – Did you hire an attorney or handle it yourself? – What should I be prepared for before filing? – Any documents or steps you’d recommend collecting early?

I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has gone down this road — good outcomes, bad outcomes, what to expect, what you wish you’d known beforehand.

Any advice or shared experience is greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏
