Some just cannot live alone for a second, can they?

I have been with people thru the years and yes, I keep in touch, and the one thing I have noticed is that (I am a 50 yo M) my exes, wives and GFs, cannot be alone for a couple days without starting a new relationship, while I can be alone for years and not needing companionship, isn't it weird?

I also have Male friends who just have to be with someone immediately, it's so alien to me.
