Is Fortnite Chapter 1 OG permanent?

I was just thinking about it and is Fortnite chapter 1 OG permanent. I’ve seen some say it’s gonna have completely new seasons past season X, some sources saying it’s gonna go to chapter 2. I know there’s nothing concrete right now but does anyone know what’s rumored so far? I really hope they just loop back to season 1 them bringing back the OG mode has made the game so much more enjoyable for me and my friends but I know many people think it’s bad and might not be profitable enough for epic.
