Trying to turn my ftm into sonic

I have some leftover ftm on ledger. I saw that to convert to Sonic you need to have one of a couple different wallets.

I downloaded metamask & am trying to send my ftm there so i can convert & I'm getting "confirmed transaction" notice in ledger but nothing showing up in metamask. I tried sending a small amount to two different address i got in metamask, because i wasnt sure which was correct but neither amount has showed up.

Any idea what i'm doing wrong/what i should do?
