Struggling with caps

How do you all have enough caps? I have been struggling.

I was sitting at 20k and now I’m down to 3k. Mostly my caps are spent purchasing items such as plans, ammo, weapons, or any aid/serums.

I have been selling items to the vendor and trying to hit the daily limit but even with that I barely have enough to keep up.
