Drippy Drinks at Drive-Thru

Why is it lately that every fast food drive through drink cup I get is dripping with soda down the side? They hand this thing to me as it drips away like I’m gonna put it in my car that way?! Then they look annoyed when I ask for a couple of napkins to wipe the thing off as I’m holding it at arms length before I put it in my car. Why the hell can they not wipe off the thing before handing it out the window? It irks me every time. The day can be going well, and then bam! I get handed a drippy mess and catch attitude like I’m the asshole. And I’m never a jerk about it, I nicely ask for a couple napkins.

Once the kid was like “Oh don’t worry we’ll put them in the bag with the food👍☺️”. That’s all well and good, but I got this situation with this cup in my fucking hand here. Why do you think I’m holding it out the window?! 🤣🤷🏻

Am I alone in this? I wouldn’t think it would matter if you have a nice car or a piece of shit. No one wants a sticky cup holder am I right?
