Hi there! Brand new to the bamboo world as of 5:00pm today. I am familiar with 3-D printing as I’ve had a prusa MK3 and MK4 over the past few years. I might’ve been spoiled by my Prusa as I got both of them and they were basically plug-in play printers never had an issue, except for the occasional cheap filament or humidity getting to it. I upgraded to the H2S with AMS 2 bundle as I wanted to get into multicolor printing and I thought I would take a dive and as they say go bigger or go home.

That being said I need some troubleshooting assistance as I think the issue is with the AMS, which is something I am very unfamiliar with. attached our series of photos of the very first print I did with the printer post-calibration. Also, with my lack of knowledge of the Bambu ecosystem and slicer program I attempted to pull the model straight from maker world using the provided settings for the H2S. My assumption was that by pulling the slicer settings and file together from maker world, and uploading it directly to the slicer to the printer it should be a full proof print. This does not seem to be the case. You can see in the pictures of the print there seems to be gaps in the print and air printing. It seems that the issues are where color changes occur as for the most part the black isn’t an issue, except for in the face area where it starts each level. The eyes are especially jacked up as they only occurred directly after a color change and then it immediately change back to a different color so it seems like it never really got a good chance to print in that color. Again, another example being defeat as the front feet seem to be less details and airy, whereas the back toes are full detail. My reasoning makes me think that there is some sort of issue with the AMS not properly switching colors before starting a new layer or color. Is there a step I missed in set up or did I perhaps set something up incorrectly?

I’m also providing a reference benchy that I printed directly after this toothless. I feel like the fact benchy came out perfectly further points out that it’s the color change that’s causing the issue.

TLDR: why is this toothless face jacked up?? brand, new printer, AMS, and filament. Did I set it up wrong?
