Tik Tok blind buys

I need to stay off Tik Tok as I’ve developed a horrible habit of blind buying fragrances. Especially these Arabic brands. The reviews are always amazing on most of them and I’ve been disappointed more often than not. I’m curious if it’s just my nose or if others have been disappointed with two in particular.

1. Vanilla Voyage. This smells like cardboard to me. I don’t know how else to describe it. It has a weird paper/cardboard smell to me and whether it’s on my skin or clothes, it’s the same odd smell to me.

2. Cream Velvet. This one has the SAME smell to me. When I sprayed this it smelled nearly identical to Vanilla Voyage to me.

Neither perfume gives me vanilla, creamy, milky. They both smell so ridiculously artificial to me. Another blind buy was Yara by Lataffa. More trash. Does anyone else get what I’m saying about these particular perfumes? Does anyone actually like them? I’m beginning to wonder if the reviews are lies lol
