Is it ok to be touchy with guys?

I have these weird periods where I go from hands-off to wanting physical touch. I don’t do this with just any random guy but only with the ones I feel comfortable and safe around. The ones that I know are ok with it and won’t think too deeply about it. Maybe a bit tmi but it’s particularly bad during ovulation. It’s like my body craves physical touch and my best friend is the main victim when my body gets this way. I feel territorial and handsy. Sometimes I hope he doesn’t see this the wrong way, he always seems happy when I do it so lol. I wonder if this is okay even if it’s not really normal? What would a guy think when a girl does this stuff?
