Do Indian gamers actually prefer long-form discussion videos about the Indian gaming scene, or does short/clip content dominate because of demand?

Discussions

I’m trying to understand what kind of content Indian gamers genuinely enjoy watching. Specifically, do long-form (6–8 min or longer) discussion/analysis videos about gaming in India have an audience? Or is the current dominance of short clips and YT-shorts the only thing that works?

A lot of Indian gaming content on YouTube feels skewed toward kids-focused clips and “clip farming.” I find it cringe, tbh. I’m more interested in thoughtful topics the gaming ecosystem, creators, monetization, game design, deeper dives, etc. I’m trying to figure out whether there’s actually a sizable Indian audience that prefers analysis-driven content, or am I hoping for too much.
