I give DM everything for visuals but never uses it

So I have been playing with a group of my close friends for a few campaigns here and there. We were all new to the world of tabletop RPG but now love it and make it a biweekly event.

Our DM started off with random tokens and a line drawn map. He would always talk about wanting to add this or do that to gameplay and has started to add additional stimuli like backround sounds and music to make it more immersive. He is a very very tech savy individual and rely heavily on his laptop to keep track of story, progression, sounds. But he has always used a damn large pad of paper with sharpie lines for maps.

It was mentioned that he should start incorporating more visual maps seeing as how he relied on his computer and Chatgpt for every other aspect of DMing. He agreed and would then sometimes just randomly flash AI prompted visuals of settings or characters projected on the wall to help with imagination.

My husband and I really wanted more and everyone started to really seem to want to continue these Sessions. So, we went all in and bought a large flat-screen turned it into a VTT, bought foundry vtt for him to use, downloaded large libraries of maps. We also started to 3D print a ton of minis, bosses, terrain and have fill bins with quite the collection. We ask him ahead of time what he needs and if it isn't printed already we make sure to have any minis requested ready for next sessions. We've printed everyone their own character they chose from hero forge or my mini factory. Honestly, everything and anything he needs to help create a more visual experience is provided for him.

Every session we bring the TV table and all the minis he needs. All he has to do is project maps that he would have preselected from his laptop to the vtt. And yet he doesn't. We are left looking at an expensive custom built vtt with printed minis on top and a crudely drawn digital MS doc image projected underneath. But hey, we still have sound effects and music and he has no problem telling us about how he now can record our sessions so chatgpt can then summarize our story for archives.

I cant handle it anymore and I don't know how to tell him Im out and im taking everything with me to find someone who is willing and wanting to use it for sessions.
