certs first ? or is IT just not for me..
long story short I applied for WGU, had to take an ethics in technology class before being able to start schooling with them, I failed it twice. the class was based more around ethics in my opinion & their choice of wording the test it self was complete BS, I'm probplay just mad that it shtted on my confidence, I'm not sure why I'm so stuck on IT every time I think of doing something with myself all I think of it IT or billing&coding. Should I go try to get a cert first ? then go to a school for IT. or just start off at a community college & transfer credits to get into a school. or say fck a degree all together & just try to get certs. or even just say fck IT & find something else to do with my life. I just know I don't want work that includes me having to be hands on with people in real life , if that makes sense, I used to want to be a RN but after some time & becoming a mother, I have realized I do not want to do that anymore. I was really interested in Cloud work & all that but at this point I'm not even sure where to start if I did just go to community college , or are there other schools that are better than WGU that don't do "competency" based grading. please no one be rude in the comments I'm a bit irritated so I'm sure this entire post doesn't even make sense . if someone is able to understand what I'm asking I appreciate any advice.
