It's past time to talk about the jungle (new season changes etc)

Riot's response to the increasingly unpopular role is... Lets just let people autofill their champs in the role. Champions like Zed and Sylas which are balanced for Mid lane where they have direct and exploitable weaknesses have none in the jungle. Surely they wont buff them to be the BEST junglers though... right? Wrong. These lane imports are often overtuned and almost always "must play" (see Sylas currently as the #1 overall jungler) forcing another random champion to be learned in jungle just to be removed from the role later. Now in this new season they are refunding LP to those who autofill. Are we seriously just saying we would rather laners play whatever and get their LP back when they lose than make jungle a suitable role people want to play?

Lets look closely at the new stuff for this new season for example:

Top - New items, new quests, 3rd summer spell Mid - T3 boots, more gold, fasters recall, new quests Bot - 7th item slot, more gold, new quests Support - More XP/Gold

And jungle? We slowed down your clear speed and removed objectives. You got no new items. You got no new champions (Briar 2023 last jungler released). Oh and you get a mild amount more XP from large monsters to offset the clear speed. So nothing, you get nothing... Who cares if you like it, we are just going to fill mid laners into your role anyways.

Can you imagine if people didn't like Mid lane and so they buffed Jarvan to be the #1 mid laner that you had to pick/ban and then LP refunded people who lost in the role? I mean cmon..
