What position do you sleep in?

Symptoms

When I’m not in a crash and I’m at a stable baseline, my sleep is deep and refreshing, and I have no issues falling or staying asleep no matter which position I’m laying down in.

But when I’m in a crash however, the way I lay in bed to sleep will affect how the sleep goes.

If I lay on my left side I’ll feel okay and the quality of my sleep is dependent on how I’m feeling on that particular day of the crash.

However, during every crash I’ve had, I am completely unable to sleep on my right side. I get shortness of breath, more pain, nausea, and I’ll feel cognitively overstimulated. Then, as soon as I flip to my left side, that goes away and I feel relief. Even laying down on my right side just to rest during the day on makes me feel immediately ickier.

Then when I get out of the crash, I can sleep on my right like normal.

What is this? It’s an easy fix to sleep on my left side but I’m thinking one of the body systems is affected by laying down on my right that’s exacerbated during a crash.
