App vs website discrepancies? A "parking included" example/query
I was looking for a hotel in NY using the "parking included" filter. On the app, a hotel populates and when one clicks on details it says self-parking fee of $X But the same hotel doesn't populate when I search on the IHG website when using the same filters. I googled the hotel and read reviews that parking is actually provided via a valet garage next door. If IHG considers "parking included" as free then the website is more accurate, as it is not free and indeed, the hotel shouldn't populate using the filter. However, the IHG app does. Also even the IHG app seems to have some inaccuracies as it says it a self-park, yet it multiple reviews say it is valet. Or rather valet with in and out privileges.
What has your experiences been with the app vs website? Anything else I should be aware of or on alert for when searching app vs website?
