Online for the first time, help needed!

Hi all

Trying GTAV Online for the first time, played the game when it came out but haven’t touched the online. Bear with me please, I’m a late 30s dad who’s just getting back into gaming!!!

I think I’ve already messed up, I got given the 4 million and bought a nightclub and some security and done the first few missions, picking people up and getting the audio.

Also got given an apartment by Lester.

Theres just so much in terms of POIs, feels incredibly overwhelming and have no clue what to do. Tried searching some guides and feel they’re outdated (maybe I’m not understanding it)

Any help/guidance from you pros would be really helpful! Do I need to play with other players for the missions and heists etc?

Also, if there are any old timers like me on ps5, let me know, happy to hop on and have a chill gaming sesh! Based in the UK, if that matters.
