How do you manage hydration during long runs in SG?
I’m trying to increase my mileage, but once I hit around 5–6km the humidity just wipes me out. By the time I push past that, I’m already feeling dehydrated and my pace drops.
For those who run longer distances here, what’s your approach? Do you bring a handheld bottle, use a belt, or go full hydration pack? Or do you plan your route around water points in parks? I’ve seen fountains at East Coast and some neighbourhood parks, but I don’t know how reliable they are.
Also curious if anyone uses electrolytes before or during their runs, or if it’s more about timing your run earlier or later in the day. Just trying to figure out what actually works in SG weather so I don’t feel like I’m melting halfway through.
