Housing is a Deaftone Update: Will not make me return to retail wow

Discussion

The first bold section is just my personal relationship with WoW feel free to skip to the very end of this post.
Early MMO Enjoyer, Now MMO Fatigued
I started with WoW classic and the old school Starwars MMO I think it was called Galaxies. I remember I went from a windows 98 ez machine to a brand new alienware I had bought from my lifeguarding money from the summer. Those next 3 years in WoW were magical I remember skipping big things like New Years celebrations to hang out with friends from school and players I had met online and come up with fun adventures instead. I played phase 1 TWW after taking a full expansion off, this has kinda been my history with WoW since Cata. I would skip one expansion and come back for the next. I remember missing MoP and coming into WoD with the Garrison and that was the first time that I had realized MMOs were making further distance from that social community aspect.
I truly however think the genre started to lose its identity around the same time that hard modes were introduced. From times before wrath I can remember names of people vividly, however I cannot remember a name of one person I did mythic phase 1 raid with from less then 1 year ago today.
I can remember the Druid Jennifer that I met in Elywnn forest on the server Durotan being confused about how a elf got to the human start zone at such a low level. I can remember jumping into ventrillo with her and some of her friends, and them teaching me how to use my headphones as a mic before I had a headset. I would quest with mostly her till we made our first venture into SM. I can remember my friend Holykingdude who was a couple years younger then me carrying one of my alts all the way from DM to Uldaman just because we had nothing better to do at the time(that whole week). I remember a older woman maybe in her 40s inviting me to her husbands guild DIVINE GODS OF WRATH yep it was all caps.
I could go through the list of fifty people maybe more who I made friends with and played with through out the first 3 expansions from beginning to end of those expansions. I will leave this topic however with when WoW no longer became a game of memories. Ulduar optional hard modes had made there way to the game and at the time I remember most guilds had trouble with the simplest raid like EoE in Wrath. When that idea of doing bosses on hard modes came out I initially was all in, however it would take me a couple years to realize the genre I loved had taken a turn for the worst. Knowing I wanted to do that content I would have to leave friends behind and APPLY for the top few guilds on server. On my server there were really only 3 good guilds at the time. the first was Chimera usually floating in the top 100 guilds in the world, then there was the guild Chaotic Good which then became Dark Cartel, and lastly the guild Serendipity which was not as fast as the two guilds above but usually could do all the content before the next raid hit.
Not being accepted to these guilds due to my role was full or the fact they felt I was not good enough was a low blow. It lead me to finally transfer off the server to Mal Ganis server which would not be the first server I transferred to, but it would be the last time that I truly never felt a true social connection to any player I met in WoW. To me pressing that transfer had became the definition as to why I no longer last longer then a few phases in WoW.

No Mystery
If you read the above why I would gravitate to playing the classic era servers over current retail. However there is no more essence of that discovery or wonder that came with that initial time of WoW vanilla. Everyone now just plays these classic era servers to do what they never could and truthfully they just blow past the parts of the game that you truly make memories. SoD was such a good addition to the classic era servers and I look forward to an improved version of this, it did bring in some awe back to a 20 year old game. I can say truthfully that I made a few friends along the way to the 3rd level cap.

Title
If you have read the above I appreciate you truly as it did take some time to write that. Housing is a further divide to retails current issue, players will once again be instanced like the garrison into their very small communitys. Although I may not have the correct answer on how to fix the issues that other youtube videos talk on, I think this addition is truly making the game enter its final phase of identity crisis.

Idea

Make the idea of leveling an adventure again, you are already going to give us the new raids and the new dungeons. Instead of adding a gimmick that further pushes the ghost town that wow is during the leveling phase try to make it more enticing lure players back into wanting to explore azeroth again. Instead of an instanced community what about creating a city hub that the server works on together through out the expansion. Like the new neighborhood idea you create a city with the entire server. Guilds who distribute the most to these central hubs start to get awarded with full wings to the city. This would act almost like a hall of fame that would forever be encapsulated in each wow server. People already raid log or just run mythic plus into oblivion, these citys should require wierd oddities found in the open world for progression.

To make people want to level again is not an easy task, there is however so many expansions to time travel in. This timetraveling aspect further divides the community, every phase make one of the expansions more enticing then the others. I am a sucker for leveling in Northend with the chromie travel I usually always loved my grizzly hills experience runs. The idea of these remix servers are really cool, make it a part of retail and tie it into developing the city hub for endgame. Some of the coolest moments in old school WoW for me was when the gold fountain appeared in Dalaran, or opening the gate for AQ back in vanilla. I just would like to see the seggregation stop in retail WoW I would love to see an MMO that truly can bring that social piece back. I know I am one voice, and a lot of my takes here will be laughed out. This is just the way I feel about the current state of MMORPG. I hope that if League is to launch its MMO it studies what happened to WoW social element and they try to recapture it, that is if they even go forward with producing it.

if you read this novel thanks, I expect to be blasted on my english or told no one is listening. My hope is just one person reads this and feels the same as I do.
