So it can now do super real photos but still can’t do me a scale line drawing (CAD style) with dimensions what am I doing wrong?

I often need CAD style drawings (think building plans) for my students, these are carpentry tasks, so investing time and money in solid works is not viable as it’s not that serious a requirement. I give chat dimensions and general idea with an example and I get a mixed bag of fruit in return (well, atleast something that I cannot use)? I do these things currently in PowerPoint for my students to work through. Am I using the wrong platform, wrong prompts? I can’t be any clearer with the requirements. Any help, recommendations appreciated.
