20 years of squad values show La Liga is the least equal top league in Europe
Using 20 years of squad market values, I calculated the Gini index for Europe’s top 5 leagues. The Gini measures inequality; a higher score means a few teams hold most of the value.
La Liga stands out as the most unequal while the Premier League has gradually spread value more evenly across its clubs.
